Dear Friends,
There is a genuine satisfaction when you engage your brand to bring about positive outcomes. Sure, these outcomes often include driving revenue, membership, awareness for your cause or one of many other worthy pursuits. But not to be forgotten is the incredible collaboration that can cultivate in your employees when you associate that brand with a shared set of values, or a culture, if you will.
This principle is timeless and deep; it is where I have anchored so much of my involvement within our industry. I have watched our team grow from the caring efforts of just my family to a throng of able professionals that really want to make you look good.

Our Beginnings
There is a Christmas-like excitement to receiving a product with your name or logo on it. Bryan Welton Jr. understood this feeling first and always as a consumer. Early on, however, he perceived some formidable gaps in the service model for such products, namely accessibility and production time. In 2001, Bryan engaged to reconcile those gaps with the founding of Engraving Etc. His approaches were much like his leadership and experience, both well ahead of their times.
Accessibility
Engraving and print shops were, and are still today, generalized by local sales. Hometown service is truly valuable, but it doesn’t always help Customer X, who may live 100 miles away. When similar shops stood skeptical for the early ".com era", Bryan took to learning html programming and built an online store that made "hometown service" a reality for everyone.
Production Time
The old adage "A good thing is worth waiting for" is certainly true, but if the wait were unnecessary; would it offend you to get that "good thing" five times faster? Of course, not. Bryan proactively pushed the pace of manufacturing and built up a company culture to be sustained by speedy, yet detail-oriented employees.
